At 30, Omar Mohamadi represents a new generation of Algerian entrepreneurs determined to build solid, well-structured brands built for the long term.
Since 2018, his journey in the lighting industry has been guided by a clear logic: start from the ground up, develop a deep understanding of the market, and then build brands capable of addressing complementary uses, positionings and ambitions. This early immersion gave him a concrete grasp of market expectations, purchasing behaviours, distributor needs and the real demands of the sector.
Founder — ZEUSelec, Lit Up & Luciole
This path began with Lighting World DZ, a formative first experience that laid the groundwork for a long-term vision — observing the market closely, identifying its needs, measuring its limits, and gaining a clearer understanding of where value is created in the lighting space.
2022 — Lit Up: an entry-level brand built around everyday lighting, bulbs, spotlights and standard lighting solutions. Designed to be accessible, reliable and suited to the commercial realities of the market.
2024 — ZEUSelec: a professional brand positioned on industrial, commercial and professional lighting. Built for environments where reliability, precision and performance are non-negotiable, factories, large retail spaces and commercial facilities.
2026 — Luciole: a brand dedicated to interior and decorative lighting. Inspired by a more aesthetic and emotional approach to light, chandeliers, wall lights and suspended fixtures designed for homes, restaurants and spaces where visual ambiance matters.
Today, Omar Mohamadi continues this journey with a clear ambition: strengthen product expertise, develop more local value, raise the quality and positioning standards of his brands, and embed this growth within a sustainable trajectory in Algeria, with a deliberate openness toward the African market.
"Building lighting brands that combine utility, identity, precision and ambition, with the determination to establish, over the long term, a strong, credible and lasting presence in a strategic industry."
